Important – What Happens When You Delete a Pupil

To comply with GDPR regulations, the deletion process works as follows:

  • Personal Information Removed: The pupil's name, contact details, address, and any other personally identifiable information are permanently stripped from the profile.

  • Historical Data Retained: Their lesson dates, attendance records, test results and any payment transactions will remain in your system for accounting and business record-keeping purposes.

  • Anonymous Records: After deletion, the pupil will appear as an anonymous entry in your historical logs—you will still have a record of what happened, but not who it was associated with.

Before deleting: Consider whether you simply need to mark the pupil as inactive rather than permanently deleting their record. Once deleted, their contact information cannot be recovered.
