The Doodle Pad allows you to mark up maps with routes, points of interest, and notes—perfect for planning lessons or showing pupils specific junctions, roundabouts, or test routes.
Accessing the Doodle Pad
Tap the cog icon (⚙️) on the lower navigation pane to open Settings.
Tap "Doodle Pad" to launch the map tool.
Tools and Features
Search for a Location
Tap the magnifying glass icon to search for a specific location.
Type in your search and tap the result you're looking for.
The map will automatically centre on that location, making it easy to find.
Adjust Marker Thickness
Tap the marker thickness icon to see the different sizes available.
Select the size that suits your needs—thicker lines are great for highlighting main routes, while thinner lines work well for precise markings.
Select the colour for each from the colour dot on the bottom right
Manage Your Markings
Undo – Tap the undo icon to revert your most recent change. You can tap it multiple times to step back through your edits.
Delete All – Tap cancel to clear all markings from the map and start fresh.
Save – Tap the tick icon to store your marked-up map for future reference
To access saved files clear the 3 lines at the top of the pad
And choose which map you want
Tip: The Doodle Pad is a fantastic teaching aid—use it to plan test routes, mark hazard perception spots, or explain complex junctions to pupils before they get behind the wheel.
