If you're working in an area with poor or no mobile signal, Offline Mode allows you to continue using Total Drive without interruption. This is especially useful for instructors working in rural areas or locations with patchy coverage.
How Offline Mode Works
While Offline Mode is enabled, you can still:
View your diary.
Add lessons.
Record payments.
Reflective logs
Make notes and updates.
All changes are stored locally on your device.
Once you're back online, your data will automatically sync with the server.
How to Enable Offline Mode
1. Open the Menu
Tap the "☰" icon located at the top of the screen.
2. Turn On Offline Mode
Switch the "Offline Mode" toggle to On.
The toggle will turn green to confirm it's active and the word OFFLINE will appear at the top of the page
You are now in Offline Mode and can continue working as normal.
Important: Sync Before You Go Offline
Before switching Offline Mode on, it's essential to:
Sync your app while you still have a signal.
This ensures your most recent data is up to date before you go offline.

How to Disable Offline Mode
1. Open the Menu
Tap the "☰" icon again.
2. Turn Off Offline Mode
Switch the toggle button back to Off.
3. Confirm Sync
You will receive a notification confirming that your data has been synced.
Tap "Ok" to acknowledge the message.
Tip: Always remember to sync before enabling Offline Mode, and turn it off as soon as you have a stable connection again. This ensures no data is lost and everything is safely saved to your account.
