Using Diary Colours allows you to quickly differentiate between lesson types—such as Manual and Automatic lessons—at a glance. This visual distinction helps you manage your schedule more efficiently.

Steps to Create a New Diary Colour
1. Access Driving School Settings
Tap the cog icon (⚙️) on the lower navigation pane.
Tap "Settings" at the top of page to open the settings menu
2. Navigate to Diary Colours
Under the Settings section, tap "Diary Colours & Types".

3. Add a New Colour
Tap the "+" icon to create a new diary colour entry.

4. Name Your Lesson Type
Enter a name for the lesson type you're creating—for example, "Automatic Lesson".
5. Choose a Colour
Tap the colour swatch to open the colour wheel.
Select your desired colour and tap Save to confirm.


6. Save Your New Lesson Type
Your new lesson type will now appear at the bottom of the list.
How to Apply the New Lesson Type to a Lesson
1. Add a Lesson
Go to the Diary View and add a new lesson using your preferred method.
2. Select Advanced Options
Tap on "Advanced Options" to expand the additional fields.
3. Choose Your Lesson Type
From the Lesson Type dropdown, select the new lesson type you just created (e.g., "Automatic Lesson").
4. Save the Lesson
Tap tick at top right to savethe lesson details.

View the Result
Return to your Diary View. The new lesson will now appear with the colour you selected, making it easy to distinguish from your default lesson type at a glance.
Tip: Use different colours for different lesson types—such as Manual, Automatic, Mock Tests, or Driving Tests—to organise your diary and quickly identify lessons at a glance.
