Managing Gaps in Your Schedule
From any browser please go to https://web.totaldrive.app/login where you can manage gaps in your teaching schedule. Gaps are designed for lessons that have been cancelled by your pupils that you would still like to fill, or lessons that have not yet been booked by a pupil.
To Add a New Gap:
Navigate to the "Gaps" section.
Click the blue circle with a "+" button to open the "Add Gap" menu.
Key Information:
If your driving school has multiple instructors on the app, you will be able to select the specific Instructor and their vehicle's Gearbox type directly from the gap setup menu.
Gap Details:
You can define the gap using the following fields:
Date: The date of the available lesson
Start Time: The time the gap begins.
Gearbox: Select the relevant gearbox type (if applicable).
Instructor: Choose the instructor the gap applies to. (if applicable)
Duration (mins): Set the gap length in minutes.
Duration (hrs): Alternatively, set the gap length in hours.
Repeat: Option to make this a recurring gap (e.g., weekly).
Location: Specify the location for the gap (if relevant).
Active/Waiting pupils: Choose whether to send to active or waiting pupils, both or you can select specific pupils
Publishing the Gap:
When you have finished setting the gap details, you have two choices:
Send Notification: Choose this option to automatically inform your pupils of the newly created gap in your availability.
Add Without Notifying: Use this option to add the gap to your schedule without sending any notifications to pupils.
