Whether you're leaving a driving school or joining a new one, we're here to help transfer your data seamlessly. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth transition.
Step 1: Obtain Authorization
Before we can proceed with any data transfer, we need written confirmation from your current driving school.
What you need to do:
Ask your current driving school to email us at support@totaldrive.co.uk confirming they approve the data transfer
Special note for independent instructors: If you're moving from your personal account to a corporate driving school:
Email us directly to confirm you approve the transfer
Ask your new driving school to set up a profile for you
Step 2: Create Your New Account
Visit www.totaldrive.co.uk and sign up for a new account.
Skip this step if:
You are moving to a corporate driving school (they will create your account)
Step 3: Set Up Your Subscription
Once your new account is created:
Log in to your new Total Drive account via the web admin
Navigate to Tools > Billing
Set up your paid subscription (the below is an example of Elite but this would be the same if it was basic or any other subscription.

Step 4: Request Your Data Transfer
Once your subscription is active, email us at support@totaldrive.co.uk to request your account transfer.
Include this information in your email:
"Please move my account from PIN [your old PIN] to PIN [your new PIN]."
Step 5: Complete Post-Transfer Tasks
Please note: While we can transfer most of your data, pupil progress tracking cannot be transferred automatically.
After your transfer is complete:
Manually re-enter pupil progress information into your new account
Send new app invites to each pupil from your new PIN
