The new Gaps Plus feature allows you to control how gaps in your diary are displayed to pupils and how they can be booked.
How to set up Gap Plus in the app
Open the Total Drive app.
Tap the three lines "☰" (menu) in the top left-hand corner.
- Select Options under Diary Settings.
Scroll down to Gaps Plus and tap the drop-down arrow to expand the settings.
From here, you can configure the following:
Visibility – Decide whether gaps are visible to pupils in their apps.
Hide gaps – Choose to automatically hide a gap within a certain amount of time before it starts.
Display – Control how far in advance gaps will be shown to pupils.
Booking limits – Restrict how many gaps a pupil can book per week.
Credit – Set whether pupils require credit to book a gap, or allow booking without credit.
Once you’ve set your preferences, the feature will be active and ready to use.
How to use Gap Plus in the app
Open the Total Drive app.
Either tap on the diary or the quick add button to add a gap.
- Fill in the required information and add a price for the gap.
Press the tick in the top right-hand corner to save.
Now, before a pupil can book in this gap, they will need to pay.
